EDGNEX Data Centres by DAMAC is delighted to announce the successful completion of the Tier Certification of Design Documents for the Khazzan Information Technology Company in Dammam, Saudi Arabia Phase 1 fulfilling Tier III Concurrently Maintainable criteria.

This prestigious certification acknowledges that the design documentation fully complies with Tier III Concurrently Maintainable criteria. EDGNEX Dammam is now recognised as capable of supporting any planned work on the site infrastructure without disrupting operations.

With a capacity that extends to the stated IT load of 5,150 kilowatts (kW), the certification encompasses several key areas within the facility. This includes a 25 kW IT load in the Main Distribution Area MDA-1 room, a 25 kW IT load in the MDA-2 room, a 25 kW IT load in the Meet-Me Room MMR-1, and 25 kW IT load in the MMR-2 on the ground floor, and 2,500 kW IT load in the Data Hall FF-1, 2,500 kW IT load in the Data Hall FF-2, 25 kW IT load in MMR-3, and 25 kW IT load in MMR-4 on the first floor.

Tier III Concurrently Maintainable criteria signify the ability to conduct planned facility maintenance or modifications on a scheduled basis, thereby minimising the risk of unplanned outages. The certification is a testament to the robust design based on the submitted design documents.
